Certified Construction and Demolition (C&D) Debris Sorting Facilities

The California Green Building Code requires that 65% of construction and demolition waste be diverted from landfills. A Waste Management Plan must be approved that identifies both (1) a waste hauler and (2) a C&D sorting facility. A Waste Log documenting the 65% diversion requirement must be approved before a project's Final Inspection. Waste Management Plans and Waste Logs must be filed electronically  to WasteLog@SacCounty.net
